A great selection of amazing food. Great beds, air conditioning, a lounge area, and netflix in the room. Location short walk to the lake side, and sites and wedding venues.

The architecture here is stunning, and you'll find the rooms to be really spacious. It's in a great spot, close to cool places to visit and even wedding venues. Plus, you're not far from other attractions in South Africa! 🏞️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rivendell! The breakfasts prepared by the hostess were delicious and the setting was lovely. The bath tub and shower in our room were huge, and the view from our room was breathtaking. Chilling outside by the pool was incredibly relaxing, just what we needed for a holiday. The house itself was clean and the living areas overlooked a beautiful dam and landscaped yard. The hostess, Forgiveness, provided excellent hospitality and made us feel welcome. She even went above and beyond to accommodate our room preference after we expressed our disappointment. we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway.

Exquisite view, delicious breakfast, and accommodating staff. The hotel is well-maintained with excellent facilities including convenient parking, transportation, and backup generator to avoid power cuts.

Nothing, no complaints at all. The surroundings were somewhat affected by hyacinth, but it's natural and does not ruin the experience.

The carpets in the bedrooms were not very clean and the air conditioning was not working properly. the sign-in process at the gate was a bit tedious.

Enjoy the beautiful outdoors surrounded by native plants and stunning views. the friendly staff provides excellent service and the clean rooms include all the necessary amenities such as fans to keep cool. Guests love the delicious breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere.

Parking can be a challenge.

We enjoyed the beautiful villa with its stunning garden view and spacious room. the friendly hostess made us feel at home, and we were able to play squash at the court.

One issue was the lack of privacy as there was no separation between the bathroom and bedroom.

I had an incredible experience staying at this luxurious hotel. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views near the lake. The hotel provided excellent service with their attentive housekeeping, laundry facilities, and room amenities such as ironing facilities, heating, and air conditioning. The terrace and patio with garden furniture were great for enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The free toiletries, electric kettle, and shared kitchen added to the convenience and comfort of my stay. The flat-screen TV and carpeted floors in the room made it all the more cozy. Dining in-room for breakfast was a treat, and the staff always made sure I had everything I needed.

I highly recommend this hotel to families seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
